My tablet area isn’t the same as my monitor area when I use Photoshop or Corel Painter. How can I fix it?

CeCe T. asked:

Hiya! I’m having trouble with my Bamboo tablet that I got for Christmas. It works fine when I use it regularly (like surfing the web or MS Paint), but every time I open up Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter Essentials, the mouse cursor goes all crazy! For example, I hover my pen over the bottom right hand corner of my tablet. On the computer monitor the cursor ends up somewhere in the middle. This is really upsetting me because I want to actually make art on the computer. Please help!
I’ve tried to mess with the Bamboo Properties, but it’s not working…

Note! This ONLY happens with Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter Essentials, but not with MS Paint.
I have already downloaded the newest driver from the Wacom website. Also, now I cannot even go through the tutorial because of the same problem: when I hover over the bottom right corner of my tablet, the cursor is somewhere in the middle of the computer monitor.

You say you’ve tried to mess with the settings in the driver. Make sure that
in the control panel, you have the Pen Tablet Properties > Pen Mode Details –
Tablet Area radio button set to Full. If it is, then check the Wacom site for an updated driver and install it.
